Cops force protesters to end demonstration

Soon, police reached the spot and forced protesters to end their demonstration. Upon refusal, cops resorted to lathicharge.

One of the protesters, Nadia Khan of Towlichowki who was at the forefront of the protest suffered wrist pain and allegedly received bone fracture. Later, she was sent to a hospital.

Police also tried to stop media persons from capturing the brutality of the cops.

Nadia Khan alleged that TS Police are not allowing people to peacefully demonstrate against the law. She urged everyone to come out of their houses to raise their voice against the law in a peaceful manner.

KCR against CAA

It is very surprising that TS police are not allowing anti-CAA protesters to demonstrate peacefully even after KCR took a stand against the law.

It may be mentioned that ever since CAB became the act, protests are taking place across the country.

In Hyderabad too, many protests took place against the law. In protest rallies, thousands of people participated to raise their voices against Central Government’s policies.
