Hyderabad: MIM workers attacked Congress leader Esa Misri at Chandrayangutta. Esa Misri told that around 20 to 25 MIM workers gathered near Rising Sun school, Chandrayangutta. He called Chandrayangutta circle inspector to seek an explanation for gathering of such a crowd despite section 144 being in force. Circle inspector reached the spot and tried to disperse the crowd. But the crowd attacked circle inspector and Esa Misri. Police rescued Esa Misri safely. No arrests have been made so far. Esa Misri also lodged a complaint at Chandrayangutta police station.
Esa Misri told that he was passing by Rising Sun school when he noted that a crowd of people had gathered at the polling booth. He called circle inspector who arrived at the spot. When they both were talking, some ‘goonda’ elements who were accompanied by one of the brothers of Asad Owaisi attacked Esa Misri. They also damaged police vehicle.
