Minor found dead: Case filed against School Principal, Staff

Patna: A minor boy with who has been missing since September 2 was found dead with a yellow wire tied around his neck on Monday.

The minor victim, a Class V student was found inside the bathroom of a private school in Bihar’s Kaimur district with the door bolted from outside by the faculty members, locals, TN reports.

The authorities learned about the incident when the victim’s sister started looking for him and could not locate him.

Though the victim was rushed to a local hospital the doctors declared him dead on arrival.

The police is yet to ascertain whether the victim committed suicide or was murdered.

Superintendent of police, Dilnawaz Ahmad said the victim’s father is a farmer while his mother teaches at the same private school.

The victim’s mother was on leave when the incident happened said the SP Kudra.

Meanwhile, an investigation has been initiated and the medical board conducted postmortem examination on the body on Monday.

The distressing incident has caused unrest in the district where locals have vandalized the private school.

The Police have registered a case against the director, principal and five teachers of the private school in connection with the incident.
