Hyderabad: Telangana State Minorities Commission has sought a report from DGP, Mr. Mahender Reddy about the cases filed by the police against the organisers of the Million March. The commission in its letter stated that Hyderabad City Police filed 15 cases against the organisers of Million March without specifying any criminal activity.
It may be mentioned that the said march was peaceful and no damage was caused either to the public or private properties. It is very surprising that despite this, police filed 15 cases unilaterally which is in violation to the principle of Justice. DGP has been asked to submit his report before 31st Jan.
