Minor’s kidnap case, four arrested

Warangal: Warangal police arrested four persons who were allegedly involved in the kidnap case of a minor who was kidnapped from Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hospital, Warangal.

The accused are identified as Aruna, her husband, Ramaswamy, residents of Kuttarapally village of Sangam Mandal, Andala Sunita and her husband, Srinivas residents of Mundarai village, Sangam mandal of Warrangal District.

Taking to newsmen, Mr J Narasiah told at Mathwada Police Station told that these accused persons had kidnapped 7 year old boy P. Eshwarnath on 31st August. Later, they made an attempt to sell the boy to a childless couple for a consideration of Rs 2.5 lakh.

On 2nd September, the accused persons left the boy at Warangal Head Post Office sensing the fear of the police.

The autorickshaw driver took the telephone number of the parents of the boy and informed the police.

Police arrested the accused persons with the help of the CCVTV footage.

Mr, Vishwanath Ravinder applauded the efforts of the policemen that within a short period, the culprits were arrested.
