Thiruvananthapuram: In yet another shocking incident reported, a 30-year-old man’s private parts were set ablaze on suspicion of theft and later beaten to death.
According to reports, the victim identified as Ajeesh a resident of thiruvallom was tortured by a group of seven men including auto-rickshaw drivers of the area, Times now reports.
The perpetrators used sharp and hot weapons on Ajeesh after the victim was allegedly found to have stolen a wallet and a mobile phone of a man sleeping at the Central Bus Stand in Thampanoor area.
The police sources confirmed the victim suffered burns in private body parts and that could have led to his death.
The crime’s recorded video is doing internet rounds with the cops have now identified the suspects from the video.
As many as five accused in the case have been arrested and a search is on for the rest two.
The five accused were identified as Naseer, Dinesh Varghese, Arun, Sajan and Robinson.
However, further probe in the case is underway.
