Hyderabad: Mr. Agha Sarosh, President ‘Al Khakam’ Urdu Society, Hyderabad, Ms. Qamar Jamali, Vice President and other members applauded the courageous step taken by the noted humorous writer of Urdu. Mr. Mujtaba Hussain for returning the Padmashree title which was given to him by the Govt. of India in 2007.
He declared this step as a protest against the introductions of CAA and NRC.
The members of the Society told that secularism is being damaged under various pretexts and the country is marching towards the Hindu state.
The office bearers of the society declared that next month, a seminar will be arranged under the stewardship of Mr. Mujataba Hussain who is the patron of this society.
