The popular dance reality show Nach Baliye 9 organised Quran reading session following various unfortunate incidents on the sets.

Co-produced by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, the dance reality show, since its mega launch on television last month has been bringing in good numbers.

However, lately, the show is in the news owing to participants’ injuries and health issues forcing some of them to take a week long break.

Quran Reading Session

In an attempt to eliminate such unwelcoming situations, the makers (including Khan) decided to organised a Quran reading session in the weekend’s episode.

According to a report in SpotboyE, the makers have called a few madrasa students on the sets.

The report reads, “So, the makers brought in Madrasa students, to read out the Quran on sets to ward off ill omen. They conducted this to ensure that going forward, the dance journey for the contestants turns out to be a smooth sailing one, devoid of any injuries whatsoever.”

Injuries on Set

In the recent past, Shantanu Maheshwari’s girlfriend Nityaami Shirke was reported of getting heavily injured during a practice session. However, Nityaami performed in a wheelchair last week. 

Health Issues

Television and social media’s favourite Anita Hassanandani and Rohit Reddy had to sit it out in the last episode as Rohit is being diagnosed with jaundice and Hepatitis A.

Hosted by Maniesh Paul and Waluscha De Sousa, the show airs during the weekends is being judged by Raveena Tandon and Ahmed Khan.
