Hyderabad: Noted shooter of Hyderabad, Nawab Shafath Ali Khan who represented Telangana at the 62nd National Shooting Championship held at Mho (MP) got the first prize. He was awarded gold medal.
It may be mentioned that Nawab Shafath Ali Khan had won Gold medal in 1968 at the 23rd national games sub-junior shooting competition representing AP. In the present competition, he scored 524 points and he was declared first. It may be mentioned that Nawab Shafath Ali Khan belongs to Hyderabad. He shot dead many tigers and leopards in many states.
