NCC Unit at MANUU inaugurated

Hyderabad: A leader should lead by his own example so that people should feel proud to be his followers. It is the responsibility of the leader to make a plan that is executable and motivate colleagues to implement it.

A good leader must also possess the best communication abilities so that he can make others understand his message properly. Sensitivity, neutrality and two way communication is essential for a good leader.

Air Commodore N. N. Reddy, Deputy Director-General, NCC, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana states expressed these views today while inaugurating NCC Sub-Unit at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU). Dr. Mohammad Aslam Parvaiz, Vice-Chancellor, MANUU presided over.

Air Commodore N. N. Reddy in his address to the students said that by enrolling in the NCC you have taken the first step towards serving the Nation. You should take advantage of available opportunities through sheer hard work and persuasion, he said. He also stressed emphasized the
importance of self-motivation among students.

Dr. Mohammad Aslam Parvaiz thanked NCC Officials for giving permission to start the NCC, Unit in MANUU. In his presidential address,he said that the Armed Forces not only protect the country’s borders but also serve us in distress situations. I am glad that MANUU students are serving in every sector of the country and now they will have an opportunity to serve Army through NCC, he said. Discipline is the most valuable asset you will get from the NCC and which will be useful throughout your life, he added.

Dr. M A Sikandar, Registrar welcomed the guests and highlighted the importance of NCC Unit and the efforts taken in establishing it. Mr. Anis Azmi, Chief Consultant, CUCS conducted the proceedings. Col. N. Ramalingam, Group Commander, Hyderabad Groups and Col. Girish Shah,
Officer Commanding 1 (T) Arty, Bty, NCC were also present. Mr. Mohd. Abdul Mujeeb, Associate NCC Officer supervised the preparation of newly inducted Cadet. Air Commodore N. N. Reddy planted a sapling after inaugurating the NCC Office at CSE Academy.

Earlier, the newly inducted Cadets of MANUU presented a salute to Air Commodore N. Reddy & other NCC’s official on their arrival. There were a significant number of Girls also. A large number of Deans, Professors, faculties, and students are present on the occasion.
