NDTV India wins best Hindi news channel; here’s what Ravish Kumar says

NEW DELHI: On Saturday, NDTV India’s Ravish Kumar accepted the Best Hindi News Channel (Jury’s Choice) at ENBA on behalf of the channel.

Mr. Kumar, the popular Prime Time TV anchor, writer, journalist and media personality said that NDTV and its journalism stands apart from “The Bheed.”

“Ten years later, when people would be searching YouTube, they would realise there was a channel NDTV that did not become a part of the crowd… ‘Na Hum Bheed Ban Rahe The… Na Hum Bheed Bana Rahe Hai (We are neither becoming a part of the crowd nor we are trying to create a crowd),” Mr Kumar said.

“We all get swayed by emotions, but professional ethics teach us that we should be objective and not get swayed.”
