Hyderabad: Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad celebrated “WORLD ELEPHANT DAY” on 12th August-2020 with an objective to create more awareness and to educate people to make it as easy as possible for anyone to get involved in supporting these majestic animals and protecting them for future generations.
On this occasion, they conducted Online Cartoon Drawing competition on the topic “The Elephant” for students of Nursery to 5th standard and Essay writing competition on the topic “Elephant and Human Conflict in India” for the students of 6th to 12th standard (in English or Telugu language, not more than 500 words). All the citizens were requested to log on their official website www.nehruzoopark.in and submit the cartoon drawings and Essay writings. Winners will be awarded e-certificates and prizes from Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad.
