New Delhi: Heavy voter turnout in Muslim areas despite ‘roza’

New Delhi: Heavy voter turnout was witnessed in the national capital especially in north-eastern parliamentary constituencies of Muslim areas Seelampur, Jaffarabad, Maujpur, Brahmpuri, Noor-e-Ilahi, Mustafabad, Nehru Vihar, Chand Bagh, Khajuri, Nand Nagri, Seemapuri, Kabir Nagar, Kardampuri. Such an awareness regarding the right to vote was seen for the first time which indicates that the people were suffering from several problems for the past 5 years.

According to Rashtriya Sahara upset with the present situation, the voters used their vote not only against BJP but also against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Voters told that a particular community was targeted during the past 5 years. A tough fight was witnessed between Congress and BJP in most of the colonies of Babarpur, Naveen Shahdara, Subhash Mohalla, Rohtash Nagar, Ghonda, Khajuri Khaas, which are BJP bastion. Overall Congress wave could be seen in the national capital.

Despite the fasting month of Ramadan, a large number of men and women used their franchise.
