Newborn baby’s head found separated during operation

Hyderabad: In a strange incident, the head of the newborn baby was found separated during surgical operation.

This incident took place at Govt. Hospital, Achampet.

Achampet police registered a case against Dr. Sudha Rani for carelessness of the duty doctor leading to death.

Another case has also been registered against the Superintendent of the hospital, Dr. Taza Singh for carelessness.

Mr. Saibaba Goud, the husband of the pregnant woman had lodged a complaint in the police station.

According to the details furnished by the District Medical and Health officer, Nagarkurnool, Dr. Sudhakarlal, the woman had aborted earlier also.

When she conceived for the second time, she was admitted into the hospital.

After shifting her to the labour room, Dr. Sudha Rani had performed surgical operation but the head of the new born baby was already separated from the body.

The patient was rushed to a hospital through an ambulance accompanied by a worker of ASHA. The body of the newborn baby was kept inside the womb of the mother. After reaching Hyderabad, the head of the baby was handed over to the police.
