Hyderabad: President of Greater Hyderabad City Congress Committee’s Minorities Department, Mr. Shaik Abdullah Sohail lamented that the issue of 12% reservations for Muslims was neglected by the House Committee of Minorities Department in its meeting held two days back. He further said that Muslims had high hopes with this committee. He pointed out that Muslims are not getting jobs because there is not adequate reservation for them. He regretted that the issue of 12% reservations for Muslims was not considered in the said meeting. In the same manner, bifurcation of Urdu academy, formation of Wakf Board, dislodging illegal possessions on Wakf properties and other important issues pertaining to Muslims were also neglected by this committee.
