12-year-old Arif runs away from home after parents failed to buy bicycle for him

Hyderabad: At Kukatpally Housing Board, a 12-year-old boy ran away from as he was upset at his parents for not buying a bicycle for him.

According to the news published in DC, parents of Arif were not able to buy a bicycle due to financial problems.

Talking about this case, police said that Abdul Azeez who is a resident of Yellammabanda in Kukatpally sells goggles on the footpath to fulfill his family’s daily expenses.

On Sunday, Arif who was a student of nearby madrasa went to the roadside shop of his father. After few hours, his father sent him to home. However, Arif did not reach home.

When Abdul Azeez returned to the home in the evening, he found that Arif did not come to the home. After failed attempt to search Arif, Abdul Azeez lodged a police complaint.

Police suspect that parents not buying bicycle could be the reason for his missing.

Supporting the theory, Mr. Saideshwar, SI of KPHB Police Station said that a year ago when he was a student of the madrasa, he ran away after his teachers scolded him.
