Gaza: Lakhs of Palestinian are gathering in Gaza for Million March challenging the illegal occupation of Israel. Israeli forces fired rubber-coated steel pellets and teargas killing at least 16 Palestinians and wounding at least 600. Palestinian have planned a six-week demonstration demanding the right of return for refugees.

Palestinian ambassador, Riyad Mansour called it a “heinous massacre” of peaceful demonstrators. The Palestinian president, Mahmoud Abbas, said that Israel was responsible for the violence and declared Saturday a national day of mourning.

UN secretary general, António Guterres, called for an independent investigation into deadly clashes.

Jittered by the peaceful protest of Palestinians, Israeli has threatened to kill top Hamas leaders, if the tension intensifies at the border.
