2-day seminar on ‘Problems of Muslims’ identity and development in India’

According to Prof. Ayesha Farooqui, HoD, the Department of Islamic Studies, Osmania University is organising a special programme. Intellectuals and experts will present papers and deliver speeches in the 2-day programme. Inaugural session will be held on Tuesday, January 5, at Central Library ISSR Hall, Osmania University from 3 pm, in which guests will express their views on Prof. Anwar Moazzam. Prof. Anwar Moazzam is counted among the founders of the department. Prof. Aslam Parvez Vice Chancellor MANUU will preside over the inaugural session. Prof. Sulaiman Siddiqui former Vice Chancellor Osmania University, Prof. G Krishna Reddy will be the chief guests. Foreign guest Prof. David Weld will also present paper. Syed Ahmed Khan, Jamaluddin Afghani will present papers on ‘Nature, Science and Imperialism’. Other experts will present their papers on 2nd day, on January 6, at New Seminar Hall, Arts College.
