Muzaffarnagar: A sub-divisional officer of the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation and a junior engineer have been booked for negligence of duty in connection with the recent death of an employee, police said today.
SDO Kali Charan and junior engineer Ajit Singh were booked under relevant sections of IPC, Circle Officer Mohammed Rizwan said.
Anil Kumar, a lineman, was electrocuted while working in Bhopa village here recently.
The locals took to streets today to protest against the incident.
