Hyderabad: About 500 congress leaders and followers of former MLA and Congress senior leader Cheruku Muthyam Reddy from Dubbaka today joined the ruling party fold at a program in Medak district here. In the presence of caretaker minister T Harish Rao they joined the TRS fold.
Harish Rao offered a traditional pink shawl to them and invited into the TRS fold. It may be said here that Reddy recently joined the ruling party in the presence of TRS Boss and caretaker chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. By then he got into tears as he could not buy a ticket form the Congress party to fight the polls. He also accused the congress leadership in Telangana of seeking money to get him ticket for the polls. I do not have money to buy ticket and the party denied me the ticket, he charged.
