Hyderabad: Telangana State Council for Higher Education has decided to conduct online common entrance test for PG courses of all the six universities of Telangana State for the year 2019-20. Osmania University has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting these entrance tests.
The Universities covered under this program are Osmania, Kakatiya, Mahatma Gandhi, Palamur, Shatavahana, JNTU, P. Sriramulu and Telangana universities.
It may be mentioned that earlier, all these universities used to conduct separate entrance tests. Last year, Osmania University conducted online PG entrance test.
According to the latest arrangement, common entrance test will cover 65 different PG courses.
VC of OU, Prof. Ramchandram assured that the responsibility given to Osmania University will be successfully fulfilled and there will be no difficulty in allotment of students in different courses of various universities.
He further informed that an important meeting of all the VCs of six universities will be held within a week to finalize the schedule of PG common entrance tests.
