Hyderabad: Bouncers in a bar located in a plush area of Hyderabad thrashed four persons after a row over payment of bill yesterday.
The incident occurred in Jubilee hills were P Karthik Reddy, along with his friends, were allegedly thrashed by rods by the bar’s bouncers.
The victim in his complaint stated that he along with his friends had gone to the bar on Jubilee Hills Road No 36 on Sunday night to celebrate birthday of one of his friends.
“A bouncer named Rakesh came to us and asked us to leave the premises saying we had damaged the mirrors in the washrooms. When we checked, no mirror was broken. But the bouncer thrashed us with sticks and rods injuring us,” Karthik told the police.
When Kartik demanded an apology for their action and refused to pay the bill until the bouncers apologized, they attacked them again but this time the attack led to head injuries.
This is the second incident of violence reported from bars in a week in the city after a woman was forced into prostitution by bar staff.
