Hyderabad: 19-year-old girl raped twice, accused held

Hyderabad: In yet another incident of crime against women, a 19-year-old girl was raped by a 25-year-old youth. The accused is identified as a car driver.

According to the report published in Times of India, the accused’s father works at a dargah located at Mallepally. The victim’s father used to visit the dargah.

On one occasion, the accused offered to take the victim’s family to a dargah located in Bidar. After accepting his offer, they went to Bidar and stayed in a lodged in the last week of May.

It is alleged that the accused had raped the girl when she was alone at the lodge.

After returning to Hyderabad, the accused reportedly raped the girl in her house on 2nd June.

The family members of the girl came to know about the crime on 13th June. They approached the police and lodged a complaint.

SR Nagar Police registered a case and took the accused into custody.
