Police register more than 2000 cases against minor boys driving motorcycles

Hyderabad: Addl. Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Mr. Anil Kumar told media persons yesterday that from January this year to this date, more than 2000 cases were registered against minor boys who were driving motorbikes without licenses.

Courts have imposed fines to the extent of Rs. 16.32 lakh. In this connection, 1932 chargesheets were filed in the courts.

It may be mentioned that last year, the parents of minor boys were also given punishments and few minor boys were sent to juvenile home but this year, only fines have been imposed.
