UAE: 23-year-old lured with job offer, raped after landing in the country

Ajman: A 23-year-old woman had a very bad experience after landing in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

According to the report published in Khaleej Time, the woman was looking for the job. When she came to know about the post of Secretary in UAE, she applied for it from her home country.

The employer who is an expat asked the woman to send her personal photograph and copy of passport. After receiving the necessary documents, he sent a residency visa along with the air ticket.

Upon arrival in UAE, the employer himself visited the airport to pick her. Later, he took her to an apartment where he raped her.

Luckily, the woman managed to escape from his captive and approached local police.

When the matter reached the court, the judge sent him to jail for three years. After the completion of the imprisonment term, he will also face deportation.
