Hyderabad: The poor and destitute petty traders of vegetables and fruits are forced to bow down before the policemen.
In Rytu Bazar area of Mehdipatnam market, traffic police has been booking cases against petty traders for creating hurdles in the traffic.
In one such incident, a poor trader was seen touching the feet of a policeman to save himself from being fined.
It may be mentioned that these petty traders hardly earn their livelihood by selling vegetables and fruits. Some of the poor traders told on the condition of anonymity that Mr. Sudheer Kumar, Traffic Inspector of Police misbehaved with them. They complained that traffic police does not take any action against some of the traders who actually cause hindrance in the flow of traffic.
