Hyderabad: For the ensuing elections of 129 Municipal Councils and three Municipal Corporations, elections will be held soon. The final electoral list will be released on 19th July.
According to the election schedule notified by Telangana State Election Commission, the draft electoral rolls will be finalized by the Commissioners of Municipalities before 14th July. They will announce these lists on the basis of polling booths on 15th July.
Special Officers and Commissioners of Municipalities will conduct meetings with the representative of political parties at 3 p.m. on 15th July. They will be briefed about the arrangements of the election process. The Municipal Commissioners will accept objections regarding polling booths till 5 p.m. on 17th July. All the objections will be resolved on 18th July. After seeking permission from District Election Officer, final electoral rolls will be released on 19th July.
Mr. Ashok Kumar, Secretary, TS Election Commission issued instructions to the concerned officials in this regard.
