AAP MLA blames Punjab’s Cong govt for financial “mess”

Chandigarh: An MLA of Aam Aadmi Party, Punjab’s main opposition, today said the Amarinder Singh led Congress government is to be blamed for “financial mess” in the state.

AAP state co-president and MLA from Sunam, Aman Arora said, Amarinder Singh during his election speeches had promised to revive the state economy by finding new avenues.

But even after 10 months of formation of the government in the state he has not even initiated the process, Arora said.

“The state economy has gone from bad to worse and common people are bearing the burnt,” the AAP MLA said, claiming Punjab was heading towards “financial emergency-like situation”.

Arora also said the Congress government is to be blamed for the “financial mess” in Punjab.
