Hyderabad: Expressing his delight on the release of former Police Constable, Abdul Qadeer, Mr. Abdul Mukheet Chanda, General Secretary of TRS Minorities Cell told that Abdul Qadeer was in jail for the past 25 years. Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily was continuously pleading for his release. Within two years of its formation, TRS Govt. exhibited its minorities friendly policy by releasing Abdul Qadeer. He further said that Mr. KCR, Mr. Mahmood Ali and Mr. Narasimha Reddy played a key role in his release. He pointed out that Congress and TDP ruled the State for several years but did not heed to the appeals made by several persons and organizations for the release of Abdul Qadeer. His release has added to the many good deeds of TRS. All those who help Abdul Qadeer’s family are worth praising. With the release of Abdul Qadeer, the people of Hyderabad felt happy. He further told that it is appropriate for the Govt. of Telangana to offer Govt. job to a member of Abdul Qadeer’s family so that their lives could be peaceful. He hoped that TRS Govt. will soon implement the policy of 12% reservation for Muslims in the same manner.
