ABVP wants Govt to stop summer classes in Corporate Colleges

ABVP activists today attempted to storm the Board of Intermediate Education demanding action against the corporate and private colleges for conducting classes during summer. The ABVP leaders tried to barge into the BIE office as the officials failed to come out. On being informed, the swung into action and arrested the ABVP activists and shifted them to Begum Bazaar Police Station.

Speaking on the occasion, the ABVP leaders alleged that the students were undergoing depression and even committing suicides due to summer classes. They demanded that the State government take severe action against the managements of the corporate colleges. They also accused the State government of extending support to the corporate colleges and playing with the lives of students. (NSS)
