Hyderabad: Commissioner of Police Rachakonda, Mr. Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat took stern action against two constables D. Swami Nathan and L. Srinivas and suspended them. He also called for an explanation from the inspector of police, Narasingh Rao and sub-inspector, Anant Chari in a case wherein an accused Abhay had escaped from Uppal Police Station last week.
According to the details, Abhay was teasing a girl continuously and she was not in a position of coming out of the house. She lodged a complaint in police station against Abhay. Police arrested and kept him in the police station but due to the negligence of police, he managed to escape. The police team which had gone to Bihar to arrest him came back unsuccessful
