Hyderabad: Senior Congress leader M Mukesh Goud has said he was active in the Congress party as his residence was very near to Gandhi Bhavan and it makes him feel he was in Gandhi Bhavan. He also ruled out the possibility of his joining the ruling party.
Speaking to the media after meeting AICC secretary Bose Raj at his residence here on Tuesday, Mukhesh said he visited 100 wards during GHMC elections to feel the pulse of the people. Bose Raj said Mukhesh Goud was in touch with TPCC chief and party seniors. “I suggested to Mukhesh to take up programs which will strengthen the party. He also said he informed AICC chief Rahul Gandhi that the party was very strong in the State. The anti-incumbency was strong in the villages, he added.
