Yesteryears Telugu film actress Vani Vishwanath is likely to join the ruling Telugu Desam party in Andhra Pradesh soon.
The actress, who participated in the Kartika Deepotsavam program here, said she has decided to join the TDP being attracted by the developmental programs taken up by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in the State.
Expressing her gratitude to her fan for supporting her, Vani Vishwanath said she will soon join the TDP. The Chief Minister would decide about her responsibility in the party. Since a long time she was keen on plunging into politics and decided to work in AP as she has great respect for Telugu people, who gave love and affection during her film carrier. (NSS)
