Hyderabad: South Zone Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police K. Babu Rao’s 1st wife Vedasri filed a case of impersonation and fraud against him in city magistrate court. 50-year-old, Vedasri, R/O SR Nagar, BK Guda registered a case in excise court, Eram Manzil in which she levied serious cases against her ex-husband and his 2nd wife.
According to details Vedasri and Babu Rao tied knot in 1983 and after they had 4 children sent her to her parents’ house. During the dispute between husband and wife, social worker Tayyaba Tasneem tried to make reconciliation later Vedasri came to know about illicit relations between the two. In the complaint lodged in the court, Vedasri stated that on questioning about their illegal affair, she was threatened and her registration papers of Vijayawada land were snatched away. She further complained that by way of impersonation and fraud Babu Rao and Tayyaba Tasneem transferred a plot under Vijayawada Municipal Corporation limits into their names and later sold it to another person.
Vedasri’s advocate Dasrath Raj told that they acquired the plot through fraud. Impersonating Vedasri, Tayyaba Tasneem prepared a fake voter identity card and sold a plot through impersonation in Vijayawada Registration Office. The concerned magistrate accepted the application and directed Vedasri to appear before court to produce evidences.
