On receipt of the complaint, the Collector did not permit the Muslims to offer Namaz.

Secretary of Mango Market, Rajeshwari called the police and revenue officials and stopped the work of digging the pits for the erection of temporary shed. RDO of the district told that on the report of the Intelligence, permission has not been granted for offering Namaz at Mango Market as a precautionary measure. He mentioned that the shops located at the market are for business and not for offering namaz.

The matter was brought to the notice of local MLA, Dr. M. Sanjay Kumar but it was not resolved. The leaders of Mango Association went to the Collectorate and met the Collector of the district. Dr. A. Sharat, District Collector did not permit the Muslim to offer namaz at the market. Against the action of the Collector, Mango association had declared ‘bandh’ for two days. Local residents and traders are feeling unrest about this decision of the authorities.
