After signing $20 bn deal, Saudi Crown Prince orders immediate release of over 2000 Pakistani prisoners

Pakistan: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman after signing off deals worth $20 bn with Pakistan has also agreed to release Pakistani prisoners said Pakistani sources.

According to reports, the Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan made a special request to the Saudi Crown Prince to look into the hardships of Pakistani labourers working in Saudi Arabia on Sunday, Al-Khaleej Times reported.

Shortly after the request was made, the Dawn reported the Crown Prince on Monday promised to do “whatever we can do” for Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia.

Earlier the Information Minister of Pakistan Fawad Chaudhry had announced that the Saudi Crown Prince has ordered the immediate release of 2,107 Pakistani prisoners in Saudi jails.
