DESCRIPTION:
The All India Council for Technical Education under MHRD scheme invites applications from girl students entering into a technical diploma/degree course from an AICTE approved institution for Pragati Scholarship Scheme to Girl Child 2017-18. A total of 4000 (2000 for diploma and 2000 for degree courses) scholarships will be disbursed under this scheme.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
To be eligible for the scholarship, an applicant must -Be a girl childBe admitted to the first year of diploma/degree program in AICTE approved institutions. Have annual family income less than INR 8 Lacs from all sources. Note: Up to two girl child of a family can apply for this scholarship.
