New Delhi: An Air India air hostess has alleged molestation by the pilot on an Ahmedabad-Mumbai flight on May 4, police said. The victim had reached out to Sahar police station in Mumbai to file a complaint.
A quarrel had occurred between the accused and the complainant on Friday in connection with the issue, said police according to a report published by a leading news agency. The spokesperson of airlines was not available for comment, the report added.
“Based on her complaint, we have registered a case against the pilot under section 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) of the IPC”, an official said. Meanwhile, the investigation is on.
