AISF to lay siege to School Directorate on June 20

Demanding action against the “looting” of private and corporate colleges in the name of fees, private corporate educational institutions which have no recognition, All India Student Federation (AISF) staged a dharna in front of the Hyderabad Collectorate here on Saturday. Later, they submitted a memorandum to the Joint Collector in this regard.

 

Speaking on the occasion, AISF State secretary Ravi Sivarama Krishna demanded the government to abolish private, corporate schools and colleges which were violating rules. He alleged that the education officials were not in a position to control the private and corporate schools and colleges, which were looting parents in the name of donations, books, uniforms etc. He demanded the government to seize stationery centers in the schools immediately and said otherwise AISF will launch attacks on the schools. The government has to seize the schools buses, which have no fitness certificates. The government has to implement the Act of Control of Fees perfectly, he said and warned the government that the AISF will intensify the agitation. As part of its agitations the AISF will lay seize to the School Directorate on June 20.
