Ajmer Dargah: Deewan stopped from entering dargah after he appoints his son as successor

Ajmer: Zainul Abedin Ali Khan, the Deewan of the Ajmer Dargah appointed his son Nasiruddin as rightful successor. Despite objections from some caretakers of Dargah, Deewan took this decision.

According to the report published in Business Standard, this announcement was made last night during the Urs of Sufi Saint Khawaja Moinuddin Chishti.

It may be mentioned that the Deewan is the spiritual head of the Dargah.

On Sunday, head priest of the Dargah was stopped from entering the dargah, Zee News Reported.

Reacting to it, his son said, “How can they stop the head priest from entering the Dargah? This is hooliganism, even the administration is helpless. They have locked us out”.
