Hyderabad: According to the election papers, Akbaruddin Owaisi reported a marginal increase in his wealth since 2014.
Mr Owaisi, 48, a resident of Banjara Hills. He has 14 criminal cases for promoting enmity, disobedience to order, intending to outrage religious feelings and criminal conspiracy.
According to a report, the MIM contestant from Chandrayangutta reported assets worth Rs 11.3 crore which was offset by about Rs 5.98 crore liabilities.
His wife, Sabina Farzana has investments and shares worth Rs 3.53 crore and properties worth Rs 3.29 crore. Ms Farzana has liabilities worth Rs 5.41 crore.
Mr Akbaruddin Owaisi paid Rs 1.89 crore in taxes.
