Akbaruddin Owaisi versus BJP’s Shehzadi: Here’s what BJP’s candidate says after filing nomination

Hyderabad: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has pitted newcomer Shehzadi as its candidate from the Chandrayangutta Assembly Constituency against Akbaruddin Owaisi in the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections.

After filing nomination, talking to newsmen, Shehzadi appealed to the residents of Chandrayangutta to cast their votes in favour of BJP. Shehzadi assured that she will develop the constituency.

She further promised to establish a women degree college both in Urdu and English and a polytechnic college.

Talking about Hindu-Muslim unity, Shehzadi said that she will work for it.

Responding to the question, “Why she selected Chandrayangutta Assembly Constituency”, Shehzadi said that she took this decision for the sake of the development of the area.

Earlier, Shehzadi had said, “I joined ABVP in 10th standard. We used to resolve different problems of the students community through a students’ organization”.

She had also said, “Many people believe that it is difficult to beat Akbaruddin Owaisi. The Muslim society in Chandrayangutta is against the AIMIM party since there has been no development in the area”.
