Mumbai: It will be a shocker to many of us to know that it is NOT Deepika Padukone but the ‘Highway’ lady Alia is the reason behind the lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif split.
There is no doubt that the couple was in a relationship from last six years had decided to part ways and their split has become talk of the tinsel town.
Some claimed that Ranbir’s ‘Tamasha’ co-star and his ex-flame Deepika could be the reason behind the split. But as per TOI reports, Ranbir’s fondness of Alia has been the reason.
According to a report in Spotboye.com, “The split story began at Imtiaz Ali’s Andheri residence, few months ago. To celebrate an indie project that he supports, Imtiaz had invited his close pals from the industry including Ranbir, Kat and Alia.”
The report further said that “Katrina Kaif felt that her boyfriend’s fondness for Alia went a little over-the-top in that party. So, she confronted him when they reached home but Ranbir dismissed it off.”
“Kat’s insecurity intensified so much that she even started hoping that her good friend Ayan Mukerji (director) will drop Alia from his upcoming superhero project which stars Ranbir and Alia in lead roles,” reports the website.
