Alleged fake FB post: Two Hyderabadis land in trouble

Hyderabad: Two Hyderabadis landed in trouble for allegedly posting fake information on Facebook. They reportedly share fake video claiming encroachment near Golconda Fort.

According to the report published in TOI, a local guide had posted a video claiming that the encroaching is taking place on Golconda Fort Wall.

As per the details, Mohammed Sultan and his father Mohammed Azam who are the residents of Golconda had shared video and claimed that officials of ASI helped encroachers.

Reacting on the post, ASI filed a police complaint. Dr. Milan Kumar, ASI Superintending Archeologist in the complaint alleged that the persons had posted it with an intention to defame the Dept. The construction was six years old and it was shared on 1st February, he added.

On the other hand, Mr. Shamsuddin Ahmed, leader of Karwan, Communist Party of India came out in support of the Mohammed Sultan and his father and said that instead of filling a complaint against them, the Dept. should have taken action against the encroachers.
