Alliance could be formed without declaring PM Candidate: Naidu’s interview

Amravati: CM of AP, Mr. N. Chandrababu Naidu in an interview given at Amravati told that opposition coalition will emerge as an alternative to NDA even if the name of the PM is not mentioned.

It may be noted that Mr. Naidu was an ally of NDA earlier but he dissociated with it later for not getting special status for AP.

Mr. Naidu told that he would make an attempt to bring opposition leaders together to form an anti-BJP alliance. He also told that people are irritated with the present government. At this juncture, there is no need to nominate any candidate for Prime Ministerial post. He informed that negotiations are continuing for forging a coalition. He said that he had talks with JD (S) leader, Mr. H.D. Deve Gowda and CM of Karnataka.

He clarified that he is not in the race for PM’s post.
