Alliance more important than seat sharing: Chandrababu Naidu

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh chief minister and TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu, after a series of meeting with Telangana TDP leaders, reported to have suggested that alliance with Congress is more important than seat sharing.

Naidu held meeting with polit bureau and central committee members and state party leaders. He discussed in details about the current political situation in Telangana state particularly on the issues of Mahakutami and seat sharing. The party president informed the leaders that forging Mahakumtami is more important than seat sharing.

He also directed the party leaders on the strategy to be adopted during election campaign and also discussed about assembly constituencies where party has to give tickets to winning candidates. Chandrababu assured the state party leaders that he will take up seat sharing issue with the top leaders of the Congress. It was stated that the Congress has offered 12 seats to TDP, but TDP leaders are bargaining for six more seats.

He asked party leaders not to be unhappy if they don’t get chance for contesting elections and directed party workers to work for the victory of Mahakumtami. Chandrababu Naidu may address elections public meetings in three to four districts of Telangana.
