Hyderabad: Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Dy. CM of Telangana State will take out draw for the allotment of free accommodation at Nizam Rubat in Makkah for the Haj Season of 2018. This function will be held on Tuesday, 10th April at 11:30 a.m. at Chowmahalla Palace, Khilwat. Mr. Husain Mohammed Shareef, in-charge of Nizam Rubat will also be present on this occasion.
It may be mentioned that three buildings have been acquired for accommodating 1286 Haj pilgrims. The draw will be held to allot accommodations for the Haj pilgrims belonging to 42 districts of Telangana, Karnataka and Maharashtra States. Out of 1286 seats, 10% seats will be reserved for the family members of Nizam. Draw will be held for the remaining 1254 seats. In this draw, 3400 persons of Telangana, 2356 of Maharashtra and 891 of Karnataka will be included. Only the Haj pilgrims of Azizia category will be allotted accommodation.
There will also be a waiting list. This draw is being held in consultation with Central Haj Committee.
Mr. A K Khan, Advisor to Govt. on Minority Affairs, Mr. Shahnawaz Qasim, Director, Dept. of Minorities Welfare, Mr. Masihullah Khan, Chairman, Haj Committee, Mr. Mohammed Saleem, Chairman of Wakf Board, members of Haj Committee and the trustees of Nizam Wakf will be present on this occasion.
