Alwaleed Bin Talal Vs Donald Trump: Fight on Twitter

New Delhi: Republican front-runner Donald Trump got into a Twitter fight with an actual Saudi prince, Alwaleed bin Talal.

Fox News co-owner Prince Alwaleed, nephew of King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud slammed Trump saying he “bailed out” the businessman twice in the past.

The Twitter fight started on Thursday when Trump posted an image showing Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, standing alongside news anchor Megyn Kelly and a woman in a niqab, described as the prince’s sister.

Thursday afternoon, Prince Alwaleed hit back saying Trump was involving the Saudis in his feud with Fox:

Alwaleed called Trump a disgrace to the US following his call for a ban on Muslims entering the country.

Within hours, Trump hit back on Twitter.

Prince Alwaleed’s investment firm, Kingdom Holding Company, does own a stake in Fox News’s parent company.

Al-waleed buying Trump’s yacht “The Trump Princess,” in 1991 after the billionaire was in debt for $900 million.

Al-Waleed took a controlling stake in Trump’s Plaza Hotel in New York in 1995, when Trump was in financial trouble and was unable to make loan payments.
