Hyderabad: Moves have been intensified for construction of Amberpet flyover and GHMC has begun acquiring land in the area. Buildings are being demolished near Gandhi statue and Sri Ramna X-road. The flyover aims at easing traffic in the area. Officers have designed the flyover keeping in view the traffic coming from Dilsukhnagar.
70 owners out of 281 landowners whose land is located on Warangal national highway have agreed to give away their land. They have been handed over the cheques for compensation. According to a municipal worker over 20 buildings have been demolished so far.
