Hyderabad: Government has sanctioned 2.47 Cr. towards compensation for two private houses to be acquired for including in the Masjid premises. Following the Makkah Masjid blast occurred on May 18, 2007, security officials had proposed to include two houses adjacent to the masjid into the masjid premises. On the basis of this proposal it has been decided to acquire two houses admeasuring 273.11 and 135 sqyds and their compensation has been fixed.
Secretary Minority Welfare Department issued orders and sanctioned 2.47 Cr towards it. Director Minority Welfare is authorised to collect the amount and acquire the houses adjacent to masjid by carrying out proceedings.
